Depending on conditions closer to race day, additional kit may well be required too. In the mountains, the weather can change very quickly so the mandatory kit is essential for good reason. Participants who lose time helping another fallen participant, struggling against the cut off time due to this reason, can claim this time back, subject to RD discretion and under the proviso of completing within their new, extended cut off period and providing support is available from our venues, medical team and event team. Our team will always endeavour to reach any participant in difficulty but due to inaccessibility of the trail this can take time. Each runner should have the Race Organiser’s mobile number.
